How build a Jumpseller App
A Jumpseller App is an application that interacts with one or more online stores that use Jumpseller. The App can be loaded through an iframe insid...
Important: This feature is only available on the checkout version 2 (In your Admin Panel: Checkout > Preferences > Checkout version).
Pickup locations are designated areas for customers to collect their ordered items. They offer convenience and flexibility in terms of timing and location. Customers can enjoy faster access to purchases, reduced shipping costs, and increased security.
A Jumpseller store can have multiple pickup locations. Adding these pickup locations is a very simple process and allows you to cater to a more broad audience in your order fulfillment.
Go to your store’s administration area.
Click on the “Locations” option on the “Checkout” menu.
Click on the “Add Place” button to start adding a new pickup location.
Fill in your Pickup Location’s address details.
Add pickup instructions, e.g. how long will the Pickup Point keep the delivered order available for pickup. These instructions will be sent along with the “Order Ready to be Picked up” email.
When you finish filling out the form, you can then click “Save” at the top right corner.
After going back to the Locations page, you can toggle on and off the availability of your Pickup Locations.
As you can see on this page, each location has a “pickup” tag, this means that they are valid order pickup points that your customers can choose during the checkout.
Regarding the two other tags, Default and Contacts. You can set one of your locations as the “default” one, showing up as your physical store address when customers go to the “Contact” page in your website.
In order to do that, click on the three dots next to a location and select “Set default location”. You can also delete a location in the same menu.
When your customers initiate the checkout process, they will be able to choose between shipping the order or picking it up at a certain location.
In case they choose “Local Pickup”, they will be able to select from which location they would like to pick up the order, just like they would do with a shipping method.
Then, they can just complete the remaining steps of the order and at the end of the process, the customer will receive an email with the pickup instructions that you defined in the administration area.
