You can connect your Google Ads account to Jumpseller in multiple ways. In this article, we will walk you through all of them. By making this connection, you increase the accuracy of the conversion event which would synchronize your Store’s data with that of Google Ads.
The easiest way to setup all your Google properties with Jumpseller is to install our Google Commerce Sales Channel.
Without having to add snippets of code or interact with complicated configurations on multiple menus, you can simpley install the Sales Channel and the configuration with be done automatically.
To learn how to install Google Commerce simply follow these steps.
In your Google Ads account, click the Goals icon on the left sidebar menu.
Copy the “Conversion ID” and “Conversion tag”. The conversion ID is unique to each Google Ads account, while the conversion tag is unique to each conversion action.
Go to your store Admin, from the side bar, navigate to General > Preferences > Analytics Settings.
You can simply go to the admin section of your Google Analytics property and click on “Data Streams”, select your website stream and copy the measurement ID.
Finally, go back to your Admin Store Panel > Settings > General.
Scroll down until you see the “Google Analytics Tracker” field, paste the measurement ID and click Save:
First, you need to create a Google Analytics account and get your Google Analytics Tracker.
You will need to fill out the details regarding your property:
After that, you can select “Web” > write down your website URL, choose a stream name and click “Create stream” > select your data stream > Copy the “measurement ID”:
Finally, go back to your Admin Store Panel > Settings > General.
Scroll down until you see the “Google Analytics Tracker” field, paste the measurement ID and click Save:
Now that you already have connected both a Google Ads account (in the google commerce app) and a Google Analytics account to your store, it’s time to make sure they are linked together.
Go to Google Analytics and click on the Admin icon at the bottom. Scroll down till you see “Google Ads links” and click on it.
Click “Link”, choose your Google Ads accounts and click “Next” > “Next” > “Submit”.
That’s it! Your Google ads account should now be linked to your Google Analytics account and your Online Store.
