Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. The invoice generator is completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark. You can create and download as many invoices as you like.
Where is my data stored? Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
Nowhere. Everything runs in your browser. Your business details, client details and the logo you add are read locally and embedded directly into the PDF. They are never sent to any server.
How is VAT/IVA calculated?
By default prices are tax-exclusive: the tax is added on top of the subtotal (subtotal × rate). If you switch on tax-inclusive mode, the tax is assumed to be already contained in your prices, so the net subtotal is calculated by removing it. The total is always the amount your customer pays.
What's the difference between an invoice and a receipt?
An invoice (Fatura / Factura) requests payment for goods or services. A receipt (Recibo) confirms that a payment has been made. Pick the document type at the top. The title and wording update automatically.
Can I use a different currency?
Yes. Choose any supported currency and amounts are formatted automatically with the correct symbol and decimals for that currency. The default is based on your region but you can change it at any time.
Is this a legally valid invoice for my country?
It gives you a clean, professional template, but every country has its own rules about invoice numbering, mandatory fields and tax. Always confirm the legal requirements for your country with a qualified accountant.
