Setting up "Available to Quote" in Jumpseller

This guide explains how to activate and manage the Available to Quote (or “Request a Quote”) functionality.
This tool allows your customers to fill out a quote request form instead of making a direct purchase. The request will be sent to your contact email, making it ideal for wholesale, high-value products, or custom pricing.


Prerequisites

  • Theme Version:
    For the button to be visible, your theme must be updated to version 4.12.2 or higher.

Step 1: Activation per Product

The quote function is activated individually for each product:

  1. Log in to your Jumpseller admin panel.
  2. Navigate to the Products section and select the item you wish to configure.
  3. Look for the checkbox labeled “Available for Quote”.
  4. Click Save.

Step 2: Visibility and Pricing Configuration

Depending on your sales strategy, you can configure how the product is displayed:

  • With visible price:
    If the product is available and in stock, the “Quote” button will appear alongside the usual options.

  • Hide price and purchase button:
    If you want customers to only contact you without seeing the price beforehand, mark the product as “Not Available”.
    This will hide the pricing options but keep the contact form active for that product.

Step 3: Customer Request Flow

When a customer uses this feature:

  1. The customer clicks the “Request Quote” button.
  2. They can add multiple products to the same request.
  3. The customer completes their contact details and submits the form.

Step 4: Managing Received Requests

Once the request is sent, the process continues via email:

  • You will receive a notification at the contact email configured in your store.
  • The email subject will be “Quote Request” and will include:
    • List of products and requested quantities.
    • Customer contact information.
  • You can reply directly to the customer with the agreed price or attach a formal quote.
